Data Deletion Instructions

For users who connected a Meta (Facebook) account or any other platform account to the Humans Systems reporting platform.

When you authorize Humans Systems to connect to your advertising accounts, we store an OAuth access token and connection metadata (your authorizing email address, account ID, and connection timestamp). This page explains how to delete that data — and what happens when you do.

What gets deleted

Deleted immediately upon disconnection

  • The OAuth access token Humans Systems holds for your account — rendered invalid the moment you disconnect.
  • The connection record linking your authorizing email address to the platform account.

Deleted within 30 days

  • Any remaining connection metadata (account name, account ID, authorizing email) in our operational systems.
  • Incidental backups are purged within an additional 30 days.

Not deleted — and why

Ad performance metrics (impressions, clicks, spend, conversions, and similar data) stored in the client's data warehouse are business records of the advertising account — not personal data of the individual who authorized the connection. They describe how ad campaigns performed, not who you are. These records remain in the client's warehouse after disconnection, under the client's ownership and control. They are not deleted as part of a personal data deletion request unless you are also the account owner and separately request warehouse deletion.

Financial records (invoices, payment history) are retained for the period required by Spanish law.

How to delete your data

Three ways to do it — any one of them works.

Option A — Self-service in the dashboard (fastest)

If you have access to the Humans Systems dashboard:

  1. Go to Settings → Connections.
  2. Find the Meta (or other platform) connection you want to remove.
  3. Click Delete connection.

This immediately revokes the stored access token and deletes the connection record. No further action needed for the token itself.

Option B — Remove via Meta (Facebook) settings

Meta lets you remove third-party app access directly from your Facebook account. To do this:

  1. Go to Facebook: Settings & Privacy → Settings → Security and Login → Business Integrations (or Apps and Websites, depending on your account type).
  2. Find "Humans Systems" in the list.
  3. Click Remove.

This revokes Meta's authorization. After removal, email us at julien@humanssystems.comwith the subject line "Meta data deletion request" and the Meta account email or ID you used, and we will delete any remaining stored data within 30 days and confirm by email.

Option C — Email request

Send an email to julien@humanssystems.com with:

  • Subject line: "Data deletion request".
  • The email address or Meta account ID used when authorizing the connection.
  • Optionally: which specific platform connection(s) you want removed, or "all" if you want everything.

We will confirm receipt within 5 business days, revoke any associated access tokens, and delete stored personal data within 30 days. We will send a confirmation email when deletion is complete.
